Owlets 2-3 Year Old Toddler Room​
​
The Owlet Room provides very young children the opportunity to enter childcare for the first time in a warm, caring, safe enviroment. It has a very small ratio of just 5 children per day which allows for more one on one time with the Educator. In this room, children can expect to learn very basic concepts such as mathematics, literacy, numeracy, science, creative arts and have opportunities to develop fine and gross motor skills and more! These basic concepts move along with them to the next room to help form a strong foundation for continued learning.

Barn Owls ​3-5 Year Old Preschool Room
​
The Barn Owl room is our preschool room and we have children aged from 3-6 years. Our program is broad as to accommodate the needs of each individual child. It is a play based program that facilitates learning that stimulates and develops each child’s social, emotional, physical, cognitive, language and creative development. The children are also encouraged to explore the natural environment and be active outdoors.
Each child has the opportunity to freely select experiences and express interests to contribute to the program. Our program allows staff to Plan and implement learning through play, use intentional teaching methods, be responsive to children, enable successful transitions, support children in achieving Learning Outcomes and to provide your child with the skills they need for Primary School.
Children are encouraged to explore their environment, their interests, planned activities and themselves….learning through their play.

At Little Owl, a balance of indoor and outdoor activities is provided, to encourage each child to explore their environment, and their developing abilities. Having fun, and being active are used as important learning tools, as the bridge is built in transition to preschool ​and beyond.
